Meredith Noel

Founder & Principal Designer

Meredith grew up in New Jersey where, in addition to lacrosse and horse back riding, her favorite hobbies included building lego homes and sketching floor plans. Certain that she was destined for a career in architecture, Meredith attended Hobart and William Smith College where she received her BA in Architectural Studies. During her time there, she came to realize two things— first, that her true passion had much more to do with what went on inside the buildings she designed; and second, that she needed a break from Northeast winters. Meredith moved to Los Angeles in 2005, and went on to get a Post-Baccalaureate Degree in Interior Design at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. After nearly a decade of working with other designers, Meredith began Meri Rose Home in early 2019.

Meredith’s goal as an interior designer is to create comfortable, livable spaces that function in the most efficient manner possible, specific to the needs of each client. Relying heavily on her background in architectural theory and history, she works hard to ensure that her life-long love of design comes through in every project. Her extensive knowledge of the design and construction process, combined with her natural talent for creative space planning and her amicable nature, have proven to be Meredith’s keys to success in creating a positive experience for each and every client, no matter the scope of work.

Meredith loves clean lines, cozy textures, to-do lists, running, the beach, breakfast food, and the Outer Banks of NC. She lives in Playa del Rey with her husband.
